Arsenal boss has hailed the impact youngster Bukayo Saka is making on the team and has claimed that his young gun is becoming a better player with each game he plays in. The manager has credited his massive improvement to the hard work that he puts in on the training ground and behind the scenes personally.
His first major impact came right before the half-time whistle was blown. He received a well-timed pass from striker Alexandre Lacazette and pulled off some magic as he went round the Saints goalkeeper to slot the ball into the back of the net; a move which saw Arsenal go ahead in the tie just before the break.
His second major impact in the game came just 18 minutes before the game came to an end. He established a connection with Lacazette yet again, but this time was the provider while the striker was the finisher of the brilliant move.
The result means that Saka now has a combined 6 goals and assists in his last 6 appearances (four goals and two assists). He is currently a man in form and has been carrying the Gunners on his in recent times. His style of play has now led to many likening him to how Manchester City star Raheem Sterling makes his own move.
After the match, Arteta said Saka has done well to improve his game by asking to continue training and working on those areas that he is weak in. The manager said Saka has always been a good and hardworking lad and is now reaping the fruits of his input.
